Soap Making Class

BASIC MELT & POUR (from $50 per pax) This fun and engaging 1 hour workshop allows you to learn the basics of soap making. The workshop includes: -250g of Soap Base of your choice between Organic Goat’s Milk and Centella Asiatica. -Your choice of scent from our wide range of 100% Pure Essential oil -Your choice of one colour OR natural herb powder -Choose from a wide selection of 400+ mould designs -All necessary tools and equipment will be provided. -Able to make about 5-7 soaps.

UPSIZE MELT & POUR (from $90 per pax) A creative 1.5 hour workshop where you get to learn basic layering soap making techniques! The workshop includes: -500g of Soap Base of your choice between Organic Goat’s Milk and Centella Asiatica or Both( 250g each ) -Your choice of scent from our wide range of 100% Pure Essential oil -Your choice of two colours or natural herb powder -Choose from a wide selection of 400+ mould designs -All necessary tools and equipment will be provided. -Able to make about 10-12 soaps

INTERMEDIATE MELT & POUR (from $190 per pax) We have 4 intermediate Melt & Pour workshops, each teaching different soap making techniques within a 3 to 5 hour duration. E-certificate will be awarded for each workshop. -Intermediate 1 workshop: Basic soap-within-soap, Basic snow coating, colour coating, layering and detailing works techniques. -Intermediate 2 workshop: Premium salt infusion, flower petals infusion, soap modification, basic embedding, rolling techniques. -Intermediate 3 workshop: Multiple coating, Advanced soap-within-soap, Basic Blending, Advanced Blending techniques. -Intermediate 4 workshop: Freehand, Cutting Work techniques. Each workshop includes: -1kg soap base -Your choice of scent from our wide selection of 100% Pure essential oil -Multiple colours OR natural herb powder -All necessary tools and equipment will be provided -Able to make about 15-18 soaps

Perfume Workshop, Your Personality, Your Perfume

COUPLE PERFUME WORKSHOP (2hrs) from $130 per pax

Scents & Memories are in same part of the brain. So we created a perfumery where you can blend your favourite scented memories.
Create custom fragrances that imbibe your perfume personality. Our perfume making can be used for your special events such as Romantic date for couples, Bridal Shower, Indoor Team building and other corporate events.
The perfume making process starts with a ‘perfume personality test’, so you can have fun and we get to know your preferences.

This is followed by explanation of the test-results and
Matching your fragrance oils to the results
You will make 2 trials of 10ml each, before settling for the right one
The final one is 100ml EDP in a hand polished crystal bottle
Which can be personalised with FREE laser name engraving, if the booking is made few days in advance

Gin Distillery Tour

Gin, made right here in Singapore

What you will experience
A journey with gin – this tour gives you exclusive access to our working distillery. First, a welcome drink to start, and we’ll walk you through a brief history of gin and how Brass Lion came to be. You’ll be introduced to the botanicals that make up our Singapore Dry Gin and walked through the distilling process and our herb garden. Lastly, we walk you through a tasting flight of our signature gins and learn about the different flavour profiles. Itinerary = Welcome drink – Distillery Tour – Signature Gin Tasting Flight

Household Treasures

Make your own fridge magnet using heirloom moulds – packaged with a kit you can complete at home,
What you will experience
Jasmine will bring you on a trip back in culinary history as she shares how pastry stamping and moulding began and how she began collecting and obtained different moulds. Sit either indoors or in Jasmine’s beautiful garden for a tasting of hand-picked Peranakan kuehs while learning about their respective symbols. Get insights on how their recipes have evolved. Get hands-on with watching a demo of how the moulds are made before painting your own ready-made clay magnet to bring home

Leathercrafting Workshop

Singapore Icon Key or Coin Pouches | 1 hour | from S$55 per pax

During the workshop, get hands-on with learning how to cut and weave a piece of leather into beautiful ketupats or create cute bazhang pouches.
Attendees will also be able to customise their items by debossing their handcrafted items with names or initials!

Rice Dumpling (Bazhang) Workshop

You will take part in: (1) a demonstration of how to wrap nonya rice dumplings (2) a session where you will wrap your own nonya rice dumplings (3) a demonstration of how to cook wrapped nonya rice dumplings (4) a session where you will cook your own nonya rice dumplings (5) a session where you will eat the nonya rice dumplings you’ve just cooked.

Vintage Tea Workshop

1 Hour Workshop | from S$30 per pax

Indulge in authentic vintage Chinese tea while soaking yourself in a culture-filled room of vintages and antiquities. Understand the history of Pu-Er Vintage Tea, the techniques and tips for brewing, before allowing your senses to be taken to the past with a selection of carefully curated tea, aged over 10 years.

Chocolate Crafting

Enjoy a Factory Tour and an Introduction to Lemuel Chocolate, a home-grown Singaporean bean-to-bar chocolate brand. 2. Learn about the bean-to-bar making process, how it’s evolved through time as well as how Lemuel Chocolate has adapted this process to use for their own scale. 3. Participants get creative in painting/ decorating their own personalised chocolate bark, which will be packaged for them to bring home 4. Each participant will also get hands-on in making 2 flavours (6 pieces of each flavour) of truffles and take home the box of 12 they have made.

Popiah Making Workshop

1-1.5 Hours Workshop | from S$50 per pax

Be received by Michael, a third-generation popiah maker. Discover the history of this craft, as well as Michael’s family’s 80-year history of making the popular dish! 2. Watch a demonstration of masterful popiah skin-making as Michael twirls and coaxes batter onto very hot pans. (If you ask nicely, he may even let you try! Careful though, it’s hot!) 3. Pick your favourite ingredients and learn how the masters wrap their popiah before wrapping your own! 4. Enjoy your creation at the workshop venue or bring it home! (Remember to bring your own containers)

Pottery Workshop

Join our pottery workshop in Singapore to explore a Clay Day! 2. All packages include a quick introduction to the history of Singapore’s oldest Dragon Kiln and the art of pottery making.

Heritage Peranakan

In this private boutique tour, learn about Peranakan culture whilst sampling some of Peranakan culture’s most classic food dishes and desserts. Observe a demonstration on Peranakan shoe beading and if any of the above excites you.

Dessert Candle Making

An introduction to the equipment and materials used in making handmade candles 2. Learn about the history, types of handmade candles as well as handle different creative candles that have been made! 3. Pick your preferred scent/ colour and start creating your take on macarons (the candle version!) 4. Create the candle version of a popular N yonya (Peranakan) kueh: Ang Ku Kueh or Png Kueh (only 4 moulds of each kueh available)5. Pack your delicacies up and bring them home to use/display!
